LEVELIT offers four different wedge levelling systems designed to meet the needs of every tiling project: LEVELIT, XL, XXL and Tiling Buddy. These systems use clips, wedges and pliers to ensure precise tile levelling. The ideal solution for fast, easy and perfectly level tile installation.

Clips break cleanly at the base, leaving no residue in the joint.

Adjustable pliers ensure consistent pressure.

Tested and approved by professional tilers.

Reusable wedges designed to perform consistently, even after repeated use.

Use our calculator to determine exactly how many clips and wedges you need.

Wedge levelling systems ensure a perfectly level finish and consistent joint widths between tiles. Ideal for installing wood-look tiles, rectified tiles, thin porcelain slabs, thick outdoor tiles and large-format tiles.
Wedge levelling systems ensure a perfectly level finish and consistent joint widths between tiles. They are ideal for installing wood-look tiles, rectified tiles, thin porcelain slabs, thick outdoor tiles and large-format tiles.
The wedge system works by placing clips beneath the tile edges and inserting wedges into the clips. Using adjustable pliers, the wedges are tightened to bring adjacent tiles to the same height and minimise lippage.
When using the Tiling Buddy system on walls, pliers are optional. For floor applications, however, we recommend using pliers for greater precision and efficiency.
How to use:
A levelling system offers several benefits when installing floor or wall tiles. It helps minimise lippage and achieve an even, professional finish. The clips and wedges hold adjacent tiles at the same height while the adhesive cures, helping to maintain an even surface throughout the installation.
The thickness of the clips determines the joint width, ensuring consistent spacing between the tiles. LEVELIT offers clips in different sizes (1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm), allowing you to select the right joint width for your project.
Working with tiles thinner than 6 mm? By using a wedge separator, you raise the wedge to the correct height, allowing thin tiles to be levelled easily and accurately.
Wedge system
In a wedge system, a wedge is inserted into a clip positioned beneath the edges of two adjacent tiles. Using adjustable pliers, the wedge is tightened to bring the tiles to the same height and minimise lippage.
The wedge system is a versatile solution for both floor and wall tiles and is available in different versions for different tile thicknesses.
Turn system
The turn system consists of a threaded clip and a reusable cap. The clip is positioned beneath the tile edges and the cap is screwed onto the clip and tightened by hand to bring adjacent tiles to the same height.
As no pliers are required, the system offers a quick and straightforward way to level both floor and wall tiles.
Choosing between a wedge system and a turn system depends mainly on the tile thickness, application and preferred installation method. Both systems help minimise lippage and maintain consistent joint widths for an even, professional finish.
