The Tiling Buddy wedges ensure precise leveling of tiles and are used in combination with the Tiling Buddy clips. They bring adjacent tiles to the same height, prevent height differences, and contribute to a perfectly flat and sleek end result.
Technical specifications
The Tiling Buddy wedges form an essential part of the Tiling Buddy tile leveling system and are used in combination with the Tiling Buddy clips. They ensure that adjacent tiles are brought to the exact same height during installation, preventing height differences and creating a flat tile surface.
Thanks to the clever design with deep grooves, the wedges remain firmly anchored in the clips during tightening. This builds up a constant and controlled pressure, ensuring precise leveling and a sleek finish across the entire tile surface.
The wedges are manufactured from durable material and designed for multiple use. Thanks to their sturdy construction, optimal grip, and high wear resistance, they can easily be removed after use and reused for subsequent projects. Combined with the Tiling Buddy clips, they offer an efficient solution for fast, accurate, and professional tile installation.
Always apply sufficient tile adhesive and place the first tile. Check that the tile is perfectly level before continuing.

Slide the clip(s) underneath the tile and press the tile down gently. Place the next tile after positioning the clips. Make sure the tile is placed on top of the clip base. Depending on the tile size, place one or more clips along each side. Tap the tile into position.

Slide the wedge through the opening of the clip. Use leveling pliers to push the wedge through the clip with sufficient force until the tiles are perfectly flat. Tip: Do not remove the wedge yet.

Leave the wedge in place for less than 24 hours after tightening. Once the tile adhesive is ALMOST fully cured, the clip and wedge can easily be removed with a rubber mallet or your foot. Tip: Always break the clip and wedge in the direction of the joint. Remove the wedges from the clips. The wedges can be reused.

The number of clips and wedges required depends on various factors, such as the tile size and the total area to be tiled. Please refer to the consumption guide below.
Step 1Measure the length and width of the tile. Then, locate these dimensions in the calculation table adjacent to this section. The point where both measurements intersect indicates the number of clips required per m².
Calculate the total area of the surface to be tiled in m2. To do this, multiply the length by the width of the room.
Multiply the number of clips per m² (from Step 1) by the total area to be tiled (from Step 2). This will provide the total number of clips required for your project.
