Tiling Buddy Wedge System

The Tiling Buddy system is the ideal choice for small renovation projects such as bathrooms, kitchens, and other smaller tiling applications. Thanks to its ease of use and quick installation, the system is perfect for DIY enthusiasts who want to achieve a professional finish without the need for complex tools.

The working principle of the wedge system is based on placing clips and wedges between the edges of the tiles. Using an adjustable plier, the wedge is pressed into the clip, bringing the tiles to the correct height and ensuring a level surface.

With the Tiling Buddy system, no pliers are required for wall applications. For floor installations, however, the use of pliers is recommended for a more accurate and efficient result.

USE:

1. Apply tile adhesive to the substrate.
2. Slide the clips underneath the tile. Depending on the tile size, place one or more clips along each side.
3. Position the next tile against the clips and press down gently.
4. Insert the wedge into the opening of the clip.
5. Use the special tightening plier to secure the wedge firmly and make the levelling process easier.
6. Allow the tile adhesive to fully cure.
7. Then remove the upper part of the clips using a rubber mallet or your foot, always breaking them in the direction of the grout joint.

With the Tiling Buddy system, you can prevent height differences between tiles and maintain consistent grout joints across the entire surface. The system works without the need for pliers, making it faster and easier to use. In addition, the wedges are reusable, making the system a practical and cost-effective solution for any tiling project.

The Tiling Buddy system is suitable for tiles with a thickness of 5 to 15 mm and is mainly designed for small and medium-sized tiles up to 60 x 60 cm. This makes it particularly suitable for wall tiles, bathroom tiles, kitchen tiles, and smaller floor areas.
