Levelit XXL wedge-based spacer clips are specially designed for installing thick tiles, natural stone, and patio slabs with a thickness between 22 and 30 mm. They ensure precise tile alignment, a consistent joint width, and perfect leveling, resulting in a professional finish without any height differences.
Thanks to their robust construction and T-shaped base, the XXL wedge-based spacer clips offer optimal stability when installing heavy and large-format tiles. Made from high-quality, pure polypropylene, they feature a controlled break-off point at the base to allow for easy removal once the adhesive has cured.
Combined with Levelit reusable wedges and the leveling pliers, they form a reliable system for demanding tiling projects. They are particularly suitable for large-format ceramic tiles, patio slabs, and natural stone, where precision, stability, and flatness are essential.
Always apply sufficient tile adhesive and place the first tile. Check that the tile is perfectly level before continuing with the installation.

Slide the clip(s) underneath the tile and press the tile down gently. Place the next tile after installing the clips. Make sure the tile is positioned on top of the clip base.
Depending on the tile size, place one or more clips along each side. Tap the tile into place.

Insert the wedge into the clip and use the tile leveling pliers to tighten it until the tiles are perfectly aligned. Tip: Do not remove the wedge yet.

Leave the leveling system in place until the adhesive has fully cured. Once the adhesive has hardened, break off the clip at its base using a rubber mallet or by kicking it in the direction of the grout joint. Remove the wedges and reuse them for your next tiling project.

The number of clips and wedges required depends on various factors, such as the tile size and the total area to be tiled. Please refer to the consumption guide below.

Measure the length and width of the tile. Then, locate these dimensions in the calculation table adjacent to this section. The point where both measurements intersect indicates the number of clips required per m².
Bereken de totale oppervlakte van het te betegelen oppervlak in m2. Vermenigvuldig hiervoor de lengte met de breedte van de ruimte.
VeMultiply the number of clips per m² (from Step 1) by the total area to be tiled (from Step 2). This will provide the total number of clips required for your project.
