The Levelit Wedge Separator is specially designed to extend the application range of the Levelit Tile Levelling Systems. Positioned beneath a standard wedge, it enables precise installation and levelling of thinner tiles, allowing tiles from just 3 mm thick to be installed with a perfectly level finish.
Compatible with the Levelit, XL and XXL Tile Levelling Systems, the Wedge Separator provides greater flexibility across a wide range of tiling projects. Used together with the appropriate Spacer Clips and standard wedges, it allows the levelling system to be adapted to different tile thicknesses without compromising accuracy or ease of use.
For tiles 12–15 mm thick, the Wedge Separator can be used with the 2L and 4L Long Spacer Clips and standard wedges. For tiles 19–22 mm thick, it is compatible with the 3L Long Spacer Clips and standard wedges. This makes it a practical solution for professional tilers who require maximum versatility from a single tile levelling system.
Compact, easy to use and highly versatile, the Levelit Wedge Separator is an essential accessory for achieving a perfectly level finish across a wide range of tile thicknesses.
The number of clips and wedges required depends on several factors, including the tile size and the total area to be tiled. Refer to the consumption guide below to calculate the required quantity.
Step 1Measure the length and width of your tile. Then locate these dimensions in the consumption chart alongside. The point where the two measurements intersect indicates the number of clips required per m2.
Calculate the total area to be tiled in m² by multiplying the length by the width of the area.
Multiply the number of clips required per m2 (from Step 1) by the total area to be tiled (from Step 2). This gives you the total number of clips required for your project.
