Technical Specifications
The HELIX spacer clips LONG form the foundation of the HELIX tile leveling system and are specially designed for the precise installation of thicker wall tiles. The clips ensure perfect alignment of adjacent tiles, create a perfectly flat tile surface, and guarantee consistent grout joints throughout the entire project. This prevents lippage between tiles and delivers a clean, professional finish.
Made from high-quality polypropylene, the clips are suitable for tile thicknesses from 15 to 25 mm. Thanks to their specific design, they are particularly suited for wall applications where precision and a uniform finish are essential. Combined with the HELIX turn caps, the clips form an efficient leveling system that keeps tiles perfectly in place while the adhesive cures.
Whether installing a bathroom, kitchen, or complete tiled wall, HELIX spacer clips LONG help you work faster, more accurately, and achieve a professional result. With consistent grout joints and perfect leveling, they ensure a durable and aesthetically pleasing tile finish that lasts for years.
Always apply sufficient tile adhesive and place the first tile. Check that the tile is perfectly level before continuing.

Slide the clip(s) underneath the tile and press the tile down gently. Place the next tile after positioning the clips. Make sure the tile is placed on top of the clip base. Depending on the tile size, place one or more clips along each side. Tap the tile into position.
.

Turn the cap onto the clip and tighten it firmly.
Tip: Do not remove the cap yet.

Leave the cap in place for less than 24 hours after tightening. Once the tile adhesive is ALMOST fully cured, the clip and cap can be easily removed using a rubber mallet or your foot.
Tip: Always break the clip and cap in the direction of the grout joint.
Remove the caps from the clips. The caps can be reused.

The number of clips and wedges required depends on various factors, such as the tile size and the total area to be tiled. Please refer to the consumption guide below.

Measure the length and width of the tile. Then, locate these dimensions in the calculation table adjacent to this section. The point where both measurements intersect indicates the number of clips required per m².
Calculate the total area of the surface to be tiled in m2. To do this, multiply the length by the width of the room.
Multiply the number of clips per m² (from Step 1) by the total area to be tiled (from Step 2). This will provide the total number of clips required for your project.
