HELIX Twist Caps are an essential part of the HELIX Tile Levelling System and are used together with HELIX Spacer Clips and HELIX Long Spacer Clips. They apply even, controlled pressure to adjacent tiles, ensuring precise alignment and a perfectly level finish.
Manufactured from durable polystyrene, the Twist Caps are resistant to pressure and deformation, providing reliable performance even under intensive use. Their robust construction allows them to be reused multiple times without compromising performance, making them a durable and cost-effective choice for professional tilers.
The wide pressure surface distributes force evenly across the tile, reducing the risk of damage while ensuring accurate levelling. Their ergonomic design provides a comfortable grip, allowing the caps to be tightened quickly and easily for fast, efficient installation.

Step 1
Always apply sufficient tile adhesive and place the first tile. Check that the tile is perfectly level before continuing.
Step 2
Slide the clip(s) underneath the tile and press the tile down gently. Place the next tile after positioning the clips. Make sure the tile is placed on top of the clip base. Depending on the tile size, place one or more clips along each side. Tap the tile into position.
Step 3
Turn the cap onto the clip and tighten it firmly.
Tip: Do not remove the cap yet.
Step 4
Leave the cap in place for less than 24 hours after tightening. Once the tile adhesive is ALMOST fully cured, the clip and cap can be easily removed using a rubber mallet or your foot.
Tip: Always break the clip and cap in the direction of the grout joint.
Remove the caps from the clips. The caps can be reused.
The number of clips and wedges required depends on several factors, including the tile size and the total area to be tiled. Refer to the consumption guide below to calculate the required quantity.
Step 1
Measure the length and width of your tile. Then locate these dimensions in the consumption chart alongside. The point where the two measurements intersect indicates the number of clips required per m2.
Step 2
Calculate the total area to be tiled in m² by multiplying the length by the width of the area.
Step 3
Multiply the number of clips required per m2 (from Step 1) by the total area to be tiled (from Step 2). This gives you the total number of clips required for your project.
