The Tiling Buddy clips form the foundation of the Tiling Buddy tile leveling system and have been specially developed for the precise installation of small-format tiles. The clips ensure perfect alignment of adjacent tiles, create a perfectly flat tile surface, and guarantee a consistent joint width across the entire project. This prevents height differences between tiles and results in a sleek, professional finish.
The clips are manufactured from high-quality polypropylene and feature a sturdy T-shaped base that offers optimal stability during installation. They are suitable for tile thicknesses of 5 to 15 mm and feature a precise break-off point just above the base. This allows the clips to be easily removed after the adhesive has cured, without leaving any residue in the joint.
In combination with the Tiling Buddy wedges and leveling pliers, the clips form an efficient system that keeps tiles perfectly in place while the adhesive cures. The constant pressure ensures precise leveling and an even joint width across the entire tile surface.
Whether you are tiling a floor or a wall, the Tiling Buddy clips allow you to work faster, more accurately, and with a professional result as the end goal. Thanks to the perfect leveling and consistent joint width, you will enjoy a durable and aesthetic tile finish that remains beautiful for years to come.
Always ensure sufficient tile adhesive and place the first tile. Check that this tile is completely level before continuing your work.

Slide the clip(s) under the tile and press the tile down gently. Place the next tile after you have positioned the clips. Ensure the tile is placed on top of the base of the clip.
Depending on the size of the tile, place one or more clips per side. Tap the tile into place.

Slide the wedge through the opening of the clip. Use leveling pliers to push the wedge through the clip with sufficient force until the tiles are perfectly flat.
Tip: Do not remove the wedge yet.

Leave the wedge in place for less than 24 hours after tightening. Once the tile adhesive is ALMOST fully cured, the clip and wedge can easily be removed with a rubber mallet or your foot.
Tip: Always break the clip and wedge in the direction of the joint.
Remove the wedges from the clips. The wedges can be reused.

The number of clips and wedges required depends on various factors, such as the tile size and the total area to be tiled. Please refer to the consumption guide below.

Measure the length and width of the tile. Then, locate these dimensions in the calculation table adjacent to this section. The point where both measurements intersect indicates the number of clips required per m².
Bereken de totale oppervlakte van het te betegelen oppervlak in m2. Vermenigvuldig hiervoor de lengte met de breedte van de ruimte.
VeMultiply the number of clips per m² (from Step 1) by the total area to be tiled (from Step 2). This will provide the total number of clips required for your project.
