The Tiling Buddy system is an easy-to-use tile levelling solution designed specifically for DIY users and smaller tiling projects. The combination of clips and wedges helps you achieve a perfectly flat tile surface with consistent grout lines, without requiring a levelling tool. Ideal for small-format tiles up to 60 × 60 cm and tile thicknesses from 5 to 15 mm.

    The Tiling Buddy system is the ideal choice for small renovation projects such as bathrooms, kitchens, and other smaller tiling applications. Thanks to its ease of use and quick installation, the system is perfect for DIY enthusiasts who want to achieve a professional finish without the need for complex tools.

  • How does the Tiling Buddy tile levelling system work?

    The Tiling Buddy system works by placing clips beneath adjacent tiles and inserting a wedge into each clip. Using adjustable installation pliers, the wedge is pressed into the clip, bringing adjacent tiles into perfect alignment.

    With the Tiling Buddy system, installation pliers are not required for wall applications. For floor installations, however, using installation pliers is recommended for faster and more accurate installation.

    INSTALLATION

    1. Apply tile adhesive to the substrate.
    2. Slide the clips underneath the tile. Depending on the tile size, position one or more clips along each edge.
    3. Position the next tile against the clips and press it firmly into position.
    4. Insert the wedge into the opening of the clip.
    5. Use the installation pliers to apply even pressure and align the tiles.
    6. Allow the adhesive to cure fully.
    7. Once the adhesive has cured, break the clips at the base using a rubber mallet or by kicking them in the direction of the joint.
